DJ MK
Krista Wilkins aka DJ MK, is a DJ, producer and owner of UpNex Live media. She grew up in the mid west, then on a leap of faith, moved to South Florida to cultivate her passion for the music business by attending The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Sae Institute and Scratch DJ Academy in Miami, Florida. After graduation her career began by simultaneously working at WPOW Power 96, Slip N Slide Records and Djing weekly events in South Florida.
Adding to her niche of discovering artists she launched “UpNex Live” creative media production company. Offering first to market interviews, music release events, and hosting a bi- monthly concert series,
The concert series focuses on rising artists visiting the Central Florida market.

Currently residing in Miami, Florida, MK has worked with 102 Jamz, CBS Radio and most recently iHeartRadio’s 104.5 The Beat, as a radio personality, mix show DJ & show producer. She is also a featured guest mix show DJ in Orlando & Miami, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Nashville, Tennessee and Columbia, South Carolina. On Saturday nights catch her downtown Orlando as one of the resident DJ’s at The Beacham theater.

DJ MK debuted her first single ‘MK Freestyle’ featuring Orlando native, Tonii Boii produced by Yung Ladd in March 2020.They’ve created an uptempo sure-fire hit that has gained early support from EQ Distro. A second single is releasing August 2022 featuring Ball Greezy, Luke Nasty & Moe “Used To” stay tuned. Hopefully MANY more for DJ MK and the variety of high prolific artists she works with constantly. Like any true female boss/hustler who is about their business!
